  • Macari’s on Denmark St in London are now stocking Blackspot Guitars see their shop window or contact us for details of all models currently in stock, both retail and direct from us.
  • The new Model P-11 acoustic (see the acoustics page) has been reviewed very favourably in May 09’s Acoustic Magazine. It’s all come together on this fine guitar  which is now offered as a stock model, with custom specs on stuff like neck profiles and so on.
  • Against all of my predictions, by demand, Blackspot are now making acoustics, and thoroughly enjoying it. I’ve tried to include a little Blackspot magic in the styling where possible, with the emphasis on distinctiveness through intelligent design rather than layer upon layer of needless embellishment. Tim Williams of “The Crook Family” has recently collected a very special instrument – hear it on their new album – details to follow on it’s release.
